An exciting opportunity has arisen at Haynes Trucks Ltd. for a Commercial Sales Executive to join our Sales Team based in Maidstone, Kent.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with clients across various sectors.

A passion for sales and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Stay informed of market trends and customer needs.
  • Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to maximise revenue potential.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials that resonate with target audiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using relevant software tools.
  • Provide exceptional phone etiquette when communicating with clients, ensuring a professional image is upheld at all times.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within a commercial vehicle environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients.
  • Familiarity with sales management software is preferred but not essential; training will be provided as necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques and closing sales successfully is highly desirable.
