Parts Manager – Great Chart (Ashford)

Lead a key parts department within a multi‑franchise agricultural dealer group.

About Us

We are a multi‑franchise agricultural dealer group representing leading manufacturers such as JCB, New Holland and Case IH from 8 depots across the South East of England.

We are recruiting for an ambitious and experienced Parts Manager to lead our Great Chart (Ashford) depot. Our core values put customer service at the centre of everything we do, so you will need a strong customer‑focused approach to ensure the team delivers value efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead your team to deliver the best possible results in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
  • Drive proactive sales activity across all available channels.
  • Ensure retail, workshop and trade customers are supported quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a well‑organised shop and warehouse, ensuring accurate stock levels.
  • Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships across the depot’s territory.

Key Requirements

  • Experience managing a parts department — ideally agricultural, but similar mechanical trades considered.
  • Strong IT capability, including internal systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Ability to work with urgency, particularly during peak seasonal periods.
  • Working hours: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm. Saturday mornings 8am–12pm on a rota (1 in 3). On‑call rota during peak season.
