We are looking to recruit Apprentices for our Car & Commercial Vehicle Parts Centre

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, family business, based in Maidstone. This important and busy Department supplies customers throughout Kent and Sussex.  
The successful candidates will engage in a training program in our Parts/Sales/Delivery Department, which will include learning the automotive parts business through knowledge of the parts, picking the parts ordered by the customers, invoicing, packing and delivering. This role will include stock control, stock take and stock management.  

The right candidates will be willing to learn, numerate and literate with a prompt, courteous professional manner and good IT skills to adapt to the software used in the department. Team work is essential and attention to detail vital together with an interest in the automotive industry.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will become involved in the processing of parts orders, ensuring all parts requests are managed effectively. Successful integration with other internal departments is essential thus supporting the running of a smooth operation.

This is an exceptionally busy and fast growing department, with excellent opportunities for the right candidates to progress. The Ford Brand is highly prestigious and a flair for customer service is essential.  

Person Specification:
You will be a confident person showing willingness to learn in this field of the automotive business. Good all-round communication skills are essential.  

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Good Maths and English.
Good knowledge of IT and the ability to learn new systems.

Trainee Ford Specialist/Sales Executive

Based at our Head Office in Maidstone.

Our leading FordStore Centre at Haynes in Maidstone is offering an excellent opportunity for a trainee Ford Specialist/Sales Executive to join our team. The candidates must be smart, very enthusiastic and prepared to work hard to learn about the products, fit in with the team in order to provide the customer a first class experience whilst choosing the right vehicle to exactly fit not only their dreams! but also their needs! Haynes is of the view that the customer is not only what we are here for, but a member of our Haynes family as will be the successful candidate. Many of our customers only purchase their vehicles with us for a reason, and we place enormous value on maintaining these relationships. Our reputation is first class, as is our product and levels of service, and the trainee must be a perfect fit for this very special Haynes culture.  
WE are offering extensive training on both selling skills, processes and product knowledge but the successful candidate must be passionate about the product, achieving customer service and be a self-starter. A basic salary and commission is offered, together with a pension scheme, holiday entitlement, and a Company vehicle when the apprenticeship is successfully completed. Good earnings can be achieved by the right person and a highly respected career path achieved.  

YOU should be able to naturally build a rapport with customers, delivering customer satisfaction. Daily prospecting calls will be made using our dealer database and systems. You will be required to represent the brand in accordance with dealer standards and Company guidelines. Achieving maximum sales whilst acting with due diligence when negotiating and completing any sales transaction. All this will be included in an extensive training program. A full driving licence with no more than 3 points is required.

We will initially be holding a task based interview meeting in which you will be able to ask any questions and also have the opportunity of meeting some of the team and, of course, we have the pleasure of meeting you! This is meant to be an informal event and will take place at our Maidstone Head Office.
