LCV & Truck Business Development Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Haynes Trucks & LCV – Service, Ford, Iveco & Fiat
RESPONSIBLE TO: Service Manager’s, Group Service Manager
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY/TASKS
Sales
• To follow up all new and used (retail) vehicle deliveries within the local area, to sell after-sales products and to resolve any post-delivery concerns.
• To discover vehicle sale opportunities and to introduce the customer to the appropriate salesmen.
• To discuss Mobile Servicing with existing and new customers.
Service
• To respond to customer enquiries by selling agreements such as extended warranties, letters of intent, service only (incl PMI, tachograph & DOT etc.) and full Iveco Elements maintenance etc.
• To set up new accounts with customers assisting with paperwork and establishing payment methods.
• To maintain regular contact with customers to ensure that the service provided is satisfactory and that concerns are resolved swiftly.
• To assist Service Management with customer complaints/concerns.
• To assist customers with advice and guidance on all matters to do with operating commercial vehicles.
• To obtain email addresses to continually update our DMS and point of contact.
Miscellaneous
• To establish a rapport with all customers to ensure that any problems arising can be resolved in a sensitive and understanding manner.
• To assist in resolving invoice queries and collecting outstanding debts.
• To attend meetings/courses as required.
• To help organise and attend customer hospitality events as required.
• To assist with special projects if required.
