Role Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Agricultural Service Technicians to join our dynamic team, with roles available at our sites in Newbury & Winchester.

Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery, including tractors, combine harvesters, and other farm equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Performing routine maintenance and servicing of agricultural machinery.
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in equipment.
Conducting repairs efficiently and effectively to minimize downtime.
Providing on-site support to farmers and agricultural businesses.
Maintaining accurate records of all service and repair work.
Staying updated with the latest advancements in agricultural technology.
Collaborating with the parts and sales teams to provide technical support and advice.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Person Specification

Proven experience as an Agricultural Service Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid UK driving license.
Relevant qualifications in agricultural engineering or a related field are desirable.

Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
